About the Role

NECG is a rapidly scaling wealth management firm operating across four business units — NECG, NewEdge Wealth, NewEdge Advisors, and NewEdge Securities. Our small Development & Delivery team builds the technology behind that growth, at a pace where what you contribute is visible, consequential, and shipped fast.

We’re hiring a Business Systems Administrator to centralize support and governance for NECG’s third-party application ecosystem — tools like DocuSign, Conga, Orion, SharePoint, ShareFile, and Office 365. You’ll coordinate closely with our Salesforce Administrator team wherever these systems touch Salesforce, but this seat owns everything outside the CRM: the applications that keep the business running day to day across four business units.

What You’ll Do

User Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for third-party application users within your assigned business unit, ensuring user needs are met effectively
  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure appropriate access and data visibility
  • Provide ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and escalate complex problems as needed
  • Develop and deliver training programs that drive third-party application adoption and support user onboarding
  • Actively promote adoption by understanding user challenges and delivering training and solutions that improve satisfaction and productivity
  • Capture user feedback and advocate for changes and enhancements that improve the overall user experience

Application Management

  • Own administration of the third-party application portfolio — including e-signature (DocuSign), contract automation (Conga), portfolio management (Orion), and document management (SharePoint, ShareFile)
  • Troubleshoot integration issues across that portfolio, including touchpoints with Salesforce, and coordinate with the Salesforce Administrator team to keep both sides working smoothly
  • Evaluate, recommend, and onboard new third-party applications in partnership with business stakeholders and the delivery team
  • Maintain documentation of all third-party integrations

Security

  • Implement and maintain robust security settings aligned with business unit requirements
  • Ensure applications adhere to industry-standard security and compliance requirements
  • Monitor system health, usage, and performance, proactively identifying issues before they impact business operations
  • Develop best practices for data protection across the application ecosystem

Data Management

  • Maintain high-quality data through regular audits, validation, deduplication, and cleansing
  • Use data management tools to handle data imports, updates, and exports as business unit needs require
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity to support business processes

Product Management & Development Support

  • Work closely with internal teams to gather business requirements and configure third-party applications to support those needs — coordinating with the Salesforce Administrator team wherever Salesforce is part of the workflow
  • Serve as the business unit’s voice to the development and delivery team, ensuring enhancements and new features align with business needs
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to evaluate and recommend third-party solutions that address business gaps or improve operational efficiency

Analytics

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide insight into key business metrics
  • Ensure data accuracy and relevance for reporting, enabling informed decision-making for business stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate or improve reporting across platforms for a unified view of business performance

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement across the third-party application portfolio, and propose and implement solutions that better support business unit objectives
  • Implement enhancements and new features based on business needs, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience
  • Stay current with third-party product roadmaps and releases — and with Salesforce releases and AppExchange offerings where they affect your integrations
  • Champion process automation and workflow optimization to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency

What This Role Offers

  • Direct work with senior business and technology leaders from day one
  • Ownership of the application ecosystem that keeps four business units running day to day — your decisions are visible everywhere, immediately
  • A small team where your judgment and contribution are visible and consequential
  • Growth without a tenure ceiling
  • AI-augmented work as part of the role, not as a side feature

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of system administration experience, preferably supporting multiple business units or functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise SaaS administration — user provisioning, role and permission management, workflow automation, and integration patterns
  • Hands-on administration experience with business applications such as DocuSign, Conga, Orion, SharePoint, ShareFile, or Office 365
  • Advanced data management skills, including Data Loader, Excel, and validation rules
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-platform issues and work effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve problems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for user support and training

What Sets You Apart

  • Wealth management, RIA, or other regulated financial services experience
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce administration, to coordinate effectively with our Salesforce Administrator team
  • Certifications relevant to your platform stack (e.g., Microsoft 365, Salesforce Administrator, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and delivery in a hybrid project management environment
  • Experience managing data integration projects and complex data migrations
  • Willingness to adopt AI-powered administration tools across your platform stack (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to enhance user productivity

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000, based on experience
