Job Summary:
The Associate Regional Director in Retirement develops and maintains relationships with advisors and portfolios managers and supports the sales executives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Associate Regional Director’s (ARD) is responsible for numerous tasks within Retirement’s New Business Department. Such tasks shall include, but not limited to, reviewing client census information for accuracy, advanced proposal generation, creating power point presentations, marketing tasks, and supporting partner / advisor calls / inquiries and presentations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Strong, in-depth ERISA and plan design knowledge
Ability to discuss industry trends with high end DC focused Financial Intermediaries
Ability to learn multiple platform/product solutions; assist Financial Intermediary with a “needs analysis” to ensure recommending the appropriate solution
Establish and maintain productive, working relationships with Financial Intermediaries with the goal of earning their retirement plan business
Remain current on industry, technical and product knowledge. Complete management reports, expense reports and other special tasks as requested.
Assist RSD’s in effectively managing a territory and zone rotation of the assigned geographic sales coverage model.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong working relationships with DCIO firms in region to promote our solutions to Financial Intermediaries
Help RSD’s organizing finals presentations
Other duties as assigned
