Job Summary

The Operations Manager with ERISApedia is responsible for providing oversight and direction to the ERISApedia business and team members.

The successful Operations Manager will understand the ERISApedia product, client base, and industry and will continue to grow the business through enhanced processes, product functionality, learning opportunities for clients and content delivery.

We are interested in qualified candidates who are eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute internal processes:
    • Monthly updates of regulations and statuses
    • Updates to compliance material as needed (IRS/DOL/PBGC items released)
    • Pre-webcast processes:
      • Webcast set-up
      • Webcast Eblasts
    • During webcast:
      • Participate in content delivery and manage webcast mechanics
    • Post webcast processes:
      • CE Certificate processing
    • Annual processes:
      • Renewals, such as NIPA and IRS CE Provider
      • Updates regarding Form 5500 materials and COLA limits.
  • Streamline internal processes to increase efficiency
    • Determine areas where processes can be improved
    • Participate in automation discussions with Product/Development teams
  • Serve as a liaison:
    • Authors: When compliance materials require updates (add missing cases, edit text, add additional text)
    • Webcast presenters: Coordinate proactive discussions regarding topics/webcast dates
    • External vendors: NIPA, Bloomberg Law and IRS CE Provider
    • Staff and prospects: Act as resource for technical questions
  • Participate in the preparation of the Benefit Insights Newsletters:
    • Review metrics of ERISApedia article opens to determine applicable topics.
    • Utilize TPA industry knowledge as a basis for writing and reviewing content.
  • Product Improvement:
    • Serve as subject matter expert or stakeholder for ERISApedia product improvements
    • Contribute ideas to the product development process from customers, staff members, and your experience.
  • Setup, monitor, and maintain local, development, and production infrastructures utilizing a mixture of on premise and cloud systems.

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience working in the TPA industry.
  • Knowledge of ERISApedia products.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role demonstrating exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Keen sense of personal responsibility and taking ownership.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as great telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally to deliver products and feature enhancements to clients.

 

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 base salary, based on experience, plus eligibility to participate in the company’s bonus program.
