NewEdge Advisors is looking for a highly skilled service-minded associate with a positive attitude who enjoys problem-solving and meeting the needs of our advisor base & home office staff. The Finance Manager & Analyst will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance & Human Capital. The position will be located in New Orleans, LA.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

The position of Finance Manager & Analyst is a dynamic role with a diversified number of assigned daily tasks. The primary responsibilities of this job include organizing, analyzing, and disaggregating data to ensure accounts are in good order in preparation for quarterly billing and monthly advisor compensation. This person will also analyze billing and compensation data to ensure accurate reporting of revenue and expenses for monthly financial documents. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to compare and contrast multiple sets of data, document procedures for complex processes and implement multiple quality control checks across the firm to ensure accuracy in data.

Support with month-close process to ensure accurate RIA data provided to Senior Director of Finance for monthly financials. Support with budget development, forecasting and ongoing financial projections.
Reconcile transactions & fees by collecting and comparing data from multiple sources including custodial platforms, Orion, AdvisorBOB, and other systems.
Support with monthly advisory billing & compensation tasks. Implement processes & procedures to ensure accurate monthly billing and advisory compensation.
Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate tracking of account billing detail, including client information, open & closed account detail, account standing status to ensure proper billing and rebates.
Assembling and summarizing data across multiple business functions including, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations, as needed.
Support the RIA leadership and advisors with data-modeling, forecasting, data analysis as needed for current and prospective teams.
