Job Summary:

The Financial Systems Analyst will be a member of the corporate Shared Technology Finance team. The Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading technology integration of all financial management and accounting software to ensure efficient operations and minimal disruption in daily business. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of financial business systems and processes with in-depth knowledge of available technology solutions and a critical eye for improvements and automation.

Location: Hybrid to company headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.



Manage, monitor and provide technical support for financial systems.
Implement 3rd party tools and products in support of financial systems; apply patches and upgrades.
Be the technical liaison to internal technology teams and 3rd party vendors in support of financial systems.
Be the technical subject matter expert and technical administrator as needed for financial systems.
Understand technical administration, API components, configuration, reporting functions.
Work with business owners to define requirements, configure, and customize systems to maximize efficiency.
Define essential documentation in support of financial systems. ie: process, data and workflows, systems diagrams, support documentation, auditable documentation, etc.
Conduct review of financial systems to identify and recommend areas for improvement both operationally and financially.
Test and validate changes before implementing into production.
Partner with source systems providing data to financial systems and business subject matter experts to understand changes impacting financial systems and/or processes.
Support the corporate Financial Data Repository understanding data required for dashboards, adhoc query capabilities and reporting.
Participate in acquisition due diligences of acquired financial systems identifying costs, integration requirements and/or recommendations for new systems to accommodate required capabilities, growth, cost of ownership.
Define and monitor data quality reports/processes ensuring data being reported is trusted.
Build reports for use by accounting and finance and other business owners.
Perform data analysis and ongoing troubleshooting.
Provide training and support to users of all financial reporting systems.
Assist with roles, user access, permissions, and building system controls
Ability to occasionally work after hours as needed for code deployment.


Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, accounting, or other related field.
5+ years as a Financial Systems Analyst or similar financial technical role required.
Highly organized with the ability to coordinate project tasks.
Experience with business intelligence and automation tools.
Experience with cloud software.
Experience with the general ledger and accounting systems required.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.


Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Concur.
Familiar with ETL
SQL skill
