Job Summary:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented New Account Opening/Repapering Analyst to serve as the paperwork and account opening specialist for NewEdge Advisors, the RIA affiliate of NewEdge Capital Group. This role supports account opening and transitions for accounts held at Fidelity (IWS), Schwab, Raymond James, LPL Financial, & Goldman Sachs as well as accounts held directly at various fund sponsors, ensuring accounts are opened, maintained, and processed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Transitions & Onboarding:
- Support the transition process with onboarding of new financial advisor teams’ accounts to NewEdge Advisors.
- Assist with data intake and entry, form population, document delivery to clients, and new account opening during transitions.
- Travel onsite as needed to support paperwork distribution, account opening, and transfer submission.
- Account Opening & Processing:
- Understand and apply the new account workflow for generating client paperwork.
- Review and establish new accounts in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Perform back-office functions such as data entry and transfer processing.
- Advisor & Client Support:
- Respond to client and advisor requests promptly and accurately.
- Provide guidance and intervention when needed, working collaboratively with associates, advisors, managers, and end-clients.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Liaise with back-office staff and custodians to ensure accurate, compliant account documentation and delivery of firm and advisor compliance documents.
- Maintain appreciation for and adherence to applicable rules and regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and operational processes.
- Ability to quickly develop the skills or knowledge needed to support a new product or procedure.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Ability to perform assigned functions within established timeframes.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Fidelity (IWS), Schwab, Raymond James, LPL Financial, & Goldman Sachs or similar custodial platforms.
- Familiarity with Quantum, Orion, Salesforce, or custodial platforms a plus.
- Prior experience in RIA or Broker Dealer operations or Sales Support setting.
- Passion for process improvement and cross-team collaboration.
