Job Summary:
The Risk & Compliance Specialist reports to EdgeCo’s Risk and Trust Compliance Officer and supports the Internal Audit Manager, Chief Compliance Officer, and Trust Services Manager for tasks managed by the respective areas.
Location: This is an full-time in-office position at our office in Cordova, TN.
Responsibilities:
Performs Internal Audit examination and administrative support activities.
Administers and maintains documentation for [Fusion application] the EdgeCo Enterprise Resiliency Program (Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery), including the Emergency Contact system (e.g., Alert Media).
Performs reviews of System and Organization Controls (SOC) Reports for EdgeCo’s service providers.
Serves as resource for enterprise-wide due diligence requests of standard EdgeCo financial, audit, SOC reports, security program summary, privacy policies, etc.
Assists in administering entity-wide vendor management program, Venminder.
Performs (shared), as needed, Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer procedures, i.e., new customer identification and verification procedures (FinCEN and OFAC checks, LexisNexis verifications, et al).
Provides support, as needed, for account reviews, requests, etc.
Other responsibilities may include (dependent upon availability and need):
Various compliance and risk tasks (both routine and projects), e.g., administering Identity Theft Prevention Program, Information Security Program (e.g., user access reviews), etc.
Collective Investment Trusts – product support, reconciliations, reporting, etc.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum two years’ experience in either: internal audit, financial services operations, or regulatory compliance. Comparable experience considered.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or complimentary field, or comparable work experience.
ERISA knowledge and experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products required.
Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint beneficial.
Application experience helpful but not required: Fusion, Venminder, LexisNexis.
General skills: communication, attention to detail, analytical, ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities, and willingness to learn new responsibilities and subject matters.

Compensation will be comprised of a base salary and opportunity to qualify for a quarterly performance-based bonus program.
