Job Summary:
NewEdge Capital Group is seeking a skilled and proactive Salesforce Administrator to join our Software Development team. This role will serve as a key liaison between the business unit and the Salesforce development team, ensuring seamless support and alignment with the business strategy. The Salesforce Administrator will be pivotal in managing user relationships, promoting Salesforce adoption, and providing exceptional user support while maintaining and enhancing the Salesforce environment. This position will support one of three business units, working closely with Salesforce users to provide day-to-day administrative support and guidance, helping drive the strategic vision of the Salesforce-based solutions.
Location: Ideal candidates will be located in Eastern or Central time zone.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Administrator will focus on the following five core areas:
1. User Management
Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce users within the assigned business unit, ensuring that all user needs are met effectively.
Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure appropriate access and data visibility.
Provide ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and escalate complex problems as needed.
Develop and deliver training programs to promote Salesforce adoption and support user onboarding.
2. Security
Implement and maintain robust security settings aligned with business unit requirements, including sharing rules, field-level security, profiles, and permission sets.
Ensure the Salesforce environment adheres to industry-standard security and compliance requirements.
3. Data Management
Maintain high-quality data by performing regular data audits, validations, deduplication, and data cleansing.
Use data management tools to handle data imports, updates, and exports as the business unit needs.
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity to support business processes.
4. Product Management & Development Support
Collaborate with the Technical Product Management (TPM) team to provide tactical support in executing the strategic vision of Salesforce-based solutions.
Work closely with internal teams to gather business requirements and configure Salesforce to support these needs.
Serve as the business unit’s voice to the development and delivery team, ensuring that Salesforce enhancements and new features align with business needs.
5. Analytics
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to provide insights into key business metrics.
Ensure data accuracy and relevance for reporting purposes, enabling informed decision-making for business stakeholders.
Additional Essential Functions:
User Advocacy & Adoption
Actively promote Salesforce adoption across the business unit by understanding user challenges and providing training and solutions that enhance user satisfaction and productivity.
Capture user feedback and advocate for changes and enhancements that improve the user experience.
Integration & Third-Party Applications
Manage and support integrations with third-party applications relevant to the business unit, such as marketing automation and document management systems.
Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure a seamless experience between Salesforce and other business tools.
Enhancements & Continuous Improvement
Proactively identify areas for improvement within the Salesforce platform and suggest solutions to support the business unit better.
Implement enhancements and new features based on business needs, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of Salesforce administration experience, preferably supporting multiple business units or functions.
Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Advanced Administrator Certification or additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform features and capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Proficiency in Salesforce declarative tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.
Experience with Salesforce AppExchange applications and third-party integration tools (e.g., DocuSign, Conga, Office365, Orion, SharePoint).
Advanced data management skills, including experience using tools like Data Loader, Excel, and validation rules.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve problems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for user support and training.
Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Wealth Management-specific Salesforce applications preferred.
Familiarity with Agile methodology and working in a hybrid project management environment preferred.
Previous experience managing data integration projects and complex data migrations preferred.
Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 annually based on experience with eligibility to participate in the company’s bonus program.
