Job Summary:

The Senior Operations Specialist is a member of the Trust Administration team and supports financial advisors and asset managers on our advisory and trust platforms. The primary focus is on new account setups including individual retirement accounts (IRAs), individual and joint personal custody (brokerage style) accounts, institutional accounts, and other trust account types.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform back-office functions on our proprietary trust platform software (TNS)
Review and establish new accounts in accordance with policies and procedures
Perform timely and accurate account maintenance based on advisor or customer direction
Respond to client requests promptly and accurately
Oversee the statement production process
Assist the Relationship Management team with client on-boarding during transitions
Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Review and update procedures for all tasks performed on a regular basis
Work collaboratively with Treasury Management, Transfers, Finance/Billing, Compliance, Fund Services, and other internal teams as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Limited familiarity with investments, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), and tax reporting
Familiarity with terms such as power of attorney, beneficiary, probate, cost basis, corporate resolution, articles of incorporation, and related document types
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment and operational processes
Ability to quickly develop the necessary skills or knowledge to address and support a new product or procedure
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring the overall quality of the work processed
Perform assigned functions within established timeframes
Appreciation for compliance and adherence to various rules and regulations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Use knowledge and experience to make sound decisions
