Job Summary:
As a Financial Operations Administrator on our team, you will be responsible for data entry, analysis, transaction processing, research requests and reconciliation activities for retirement plan accounts. This position also provides the right candidate an opportunity for continuing education specific to the retirement services industry, as well as the ability to learn new technology and further career development.
Location: Ideal candidate is located in Lexington, KY. Remote candidates will also be considered
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review, recommend and/or implement process improvements to assure compliance with audit controls or changes that have a positive customer impact or help to reduce company risk.
Create and maintain process documentation to ensure consistent processing and training of newer team members.
Review the work of other team members and provide detailed feedback to assure a high level of accuracy.
FIRSTRAC billing system support.
New Account Review and Setup.
Report Generation
User Acceptance Testing and Support for system updates and changes.
Preparation of Fee Change Notices.
Assist with production of Plan Sponsor and Participant Fee Disclosures
Disclosure Generator support.
E-Delivery Support.
Responding to inquiries and requests from internal and external teams.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, math or accounting preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Excellent Communication Skills: Confidently and competently conveys and presents information that is straightforward, uncomplicated and clear.
Detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
A solid and thoughtful approach that defines problems and analyzes information using a rational, systematic process.
Open-minded and cooperative.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
RELIUS and INNOTRUST knowledge a plus!
Attainment of ASPPA Retirement Plan Fundamentals RPF 1 & 2 within 6 months of hire.
