EdgeCo Holdings is comprised of several affiliated companies focused on providing a broad array of sophisticated financial products, technology, and support services in the areas of full-service retirement plan administration, brokerage services, and trust & custody solutions. EdgeCo provides these services through numerous subsidiary entities including American Trust, Mid Atlantic Trust Company, NewEdge Capital Group and PensionPro Software.
The VP of Marketing for EdgeCo Holdings will oversee all the marketing for the various retirement-focused operations across the firm, including Mid Atlantic Trust Company, American Trust Retirement, American Trust Wealth and PensionPro. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer for EdgeCo Holdings, this marketing executive will develop brand and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness within the retirement and trust and custody space, develop marketing communications programs to engage prospects and customers, create marketing strategies for launching new products and services to the retirement marketplace while leading an expanding, talented marketing team to achieve those objectives and building relationships with clients, business leaders and colleagues across the American Trust and Custody Services organization. To be successful as the VP of Marketing, requires extensive marketing experience, professional presentation skills, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines and an evolving corporate structure.
Location: This position is a hybrid role for candidates in Pittsburgh, PA. Full-time remote candidates will also be considered.
Analyze existing branding and marketing strategies to identify ways to collaborate with Marketing Managers/Directors for respective business lines to improve and present opportunities to business leaders.
Work with business and sales organizations to determine business objectives and develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to meet those objectives.
Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them as necessary.
Review and make recommendations for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and appropriate allocation of resources.
Lead the development of internal and external marketing communications.
Set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets, and implement milestones to ensure they are achieved.
Lead recruitment, training, development, and onboarding of new marketing team members.
Oversee the functions of the Marketing team responsible for sales support, marketing communications across multiple channels, social marketing, SEO/SEM, product marketing, and event planning.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, Business, Public Relations, or a similar field.
Proven work experience as a Director or VP of Marketing.
12-15 years of marketing experience.
Experience in a marketing role in the financial services industry, specifically within the retirement space.
Strong leadership skills.
Strategic mindset with the ability to make difficult decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a keen appreciation for the power of sarcasm at key points in time.
Exceptional written communication skills.
Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, and related software.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Compensation will be comprised of a base salary and opportunity to qualify for a quarterly performance-based bonus program.
