Job Summary:

The NewEdge Wealth Strategist plays a key role in the over-all success and business development of the business.

This individual will serve as one of our primary wealth planning experts and resource for all NewEdge Wealth teams, ultra-high net worth prospects and client relationships by proactively addressing clients’ needs and anticipate potential issues.

They will work independently and with the team and clients to ensure mutually advantageous outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

In the role, the Wealth Strategist will be responsible for a range of responsibilities as follows, but not limited to:

 
Implement the wealth strategy process by developing, consulting, and implementing customized strategies to address the complex financial issues multi-generational families, business owners, corporate executives, private equity professionals, and other individuals face.
 
Enable confident decision making based on quantitative analyses through the use of emoney and other planning software tools.
 
Provide consultative and advisory services to prospects and existing clients in the advanced areas of liquidity planning, wealth transfer, estate and trust planning, tax, philanthropy, family governance, and overall comprehensive wealth planning.
 
Deepen designated client relationships by remaining fully engaged, proactively reaching out, and preparing for course correction as needed.
 
Stay up to date on tax law and economic changes, bringing best thinking and creative strategies to clients.
 
Participate in new business development meetings for prospective clients, generating referrals through your professional network and partnering with colleagues to expand current client relationships to support firm growth.
 
Significantly contribute to wealth strategy idea generation and best practices.
 
Work with the broader team to create deliverables, create whitepapers, and participate in client webinars.
 
Educate other team members on key planning techniques, tax law updates, and other planning initiatives.
